XCMG ERC again achieves certification for FMEA processes by TÜV SÜD according to IEC 60812.
XCMG ERC GmbH is pleased to announce that TÜV-SÜD Product Service GmbH has certified our FMEA (Failure Mode & Effects Analysis) processes in accordance with IEC 60812.
The certification body of TÜV-SÜD Product Service GmbH has tested in detail and successfully certified our various process routes for the System- and Design-FMEA and the processes of Manufacturing- and Assembly-FMEA according to IEC 60812.
This certification demonstrates the importance and priority that XCMG places on the sensitive area of development processes in our mobile machines´ design and manufacturing phases. This important for the company’s current and future mobility solutions.
The certification document for the System-, Design- and Process FMEA (Manufacturing- and Assembly-FMEA) was developed and created by Ms Dipl. Ing. Christa Düsing. This document, and the resulting “Templates and Ranking Tables”, form the basis or the templates for the FMEA processes.
The certification process was initiated to create a uniform regulation internally on how to proceed with the topic of FMEA in the corresponding projects or in what form the FMEA must be processed. Furthermore, the certification process for the FMEAs as mentioned above, forms the basis for a “Guideline” within the XCMG Group.
The XCMG development site in Krefeld is leading the way in establishing a global FMEA culture for the entire XCMG group of companies and is taking the right steps to harmonise and streamline the FMEA processes across the XCMG group.
