XCMG European Research Center achieves IEC 61508 and EN ISO 13849 process-certification from TÜV SÜD for its functional safety software and hardware development process

XCMG European Research Center GmbH is excited to announce that TÜV SÜD Rail has certified its Functional Safety E/E/PE Hardware and Software Development Lifecycle.

TÜV SÜD Rail has tested and validated our different compliance routes for the development of hardware and software safety-related systems and components according to IEC 61508 up to SIL3 and ISO 13849 up to PL e Category 4.

This certification shows the importance and priority that XCMG places on the sensitive field of Functional Safety regarding product and service quality for its present and future mobility solutions.
